how to lose weight quickly and safely

What is the Best Fat Burning Exercise?

Do you know the best fat burning exercise that we are aware of? Do you understand the number one method that you can use to get rid of those unwanted pounds as fast as possible? One way stands out above all the rest.

And it is …..

High Intensity Interval Training

Sometimes called simply HIIT, this form of exercise has been scientifically proven to be the most effective method of burning fat as quickly as you can. This is why it gets such good results:

What is High Intensity?

High intensity doesn't mean simply that you are working harder - although you probably are. When you are performing high intensity exercise, your body is forced into an anaerobic state. In other words, your body does not receive as much oxygen as it wants. Your body can remain in this state for a short period of time only, but while in this state, you burn fat at a much higher rate than you typically would.

The Role of Interval Training in Fat Burning Exercise

Our bodies have evolved to become extremely efficient machines. In mankind's early days on earth, food was scarce. Early humans often went for periods of time - days perhaps - without eating Therefore, our bodies learned how to save as much fat as possible rather than burn it. Saving fat was a matter of basic survival.

Today, many of us are in a position of having much more food than we need - but our bodies are still locked into store and save modality. Because of this reality, if you exercise at a constant speed - such as walking at three miles per hour or running on a treadmill at five miles per hour -- your body will at first burn more fat than usual. However, it will all too soon realize the "threat" and move into what we call a "fuel economy" mode.

You will end up burning very little fat because of this amazing ability that your body has learned over millennia.

Fortunately, the opposite of this is true as well. If you keep changing your speed and intensity, your body cannot predict what is coming next. It will continue to burn fat at a good speed and be as fuel efficient as a sports car. In other words, not at all fuel efficient.

Interval training simply means training at variable speeds.

The Best Way to Perform Fat Burning Exercise

Undoubtedly you can think of a great many ways to do HIIT exercise. One of the easiest, and which requires no particular equipment, is to simply jog at a brisk pace for a short interval. Thirty seconds is a good starting place. Then, run as hard as you can for the next thirty seconds. Continue to repeat this cycle for as long as you can. Try to work up to 15 minutes, but remember that most of us cannot achieve fifteen minutes of interval exercise without building up to it.

Typically, people feel quite tired after a HIIT workout. You may feel close to exhaustion. Comfort yourself by considering that you have burned many calories, and that most of them have come from your reserves of fat. Even better, your metabolism will be raised for a period of time afterwards, perhaps for the entire day.

High intensity Interval Training is the most effective and best fat burning exercise we know about. Always check with a physician before undertaking a strenuous exercise regime.
